Welcome to Slonim!

Great Synagogue 1642 in Slonim. 2020

This is one of the oldest cities in Belarus. Once belonged to Lev Sapega.

This is what the coat of arms of the city of Slonim says, a lion on a blue background.

The population is about 50,000 people at the moment.

Although the town is not big, it is steeped in history. One of them is associated with the Jewish community. The Great Synagogue was built in 1642 and has survived to this day. The wars have passed and survived. Although it is still in the process of reconstruction, there is almost no work being done.

This is one of the oldest synagogues in Belarus.

Slonim is represented not only by the Synagogue but also by the Orthodox and Catholic churches. Which are open to parishioners.
